Treatment — Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy is the gold standard treatment for spider veins. A small needle is used to inject a sclerosant solution directly into the vein. The solution irritates the vein wall, causing it to collapse and seal shut. Over the following weeks the vein fades and is absorbed by the body.

What to Expect

After treatment: Compression stockings for 24–48 hours. Normal activity immediately. Avoid strenuous exercise and sun exposure for one week. Results visible within 2–6 weeks as veins gradually fade.
